It’s fundamental to making sense of our world from understanding patterns and trends to utilizing artificial intelligence for increased efficiency. People use data every day to make decisions like deciding what to wear based on the weather forecast, selecting a movie to watch from personalized recommendations, or selecting where to eat based on a restaurant’s stars or reviews.

In 2019, Peoria Unified School District (PUSD) began a district-wide PLC roll out to support teachers transitioning to new state science standards. The new standards pull largely from A Framework for K-12 Science Education and leverage student-driven, multidimensional learning.
